Frequently asked
The practical questions
Real answers to the things people actually ask before buying. If your question is not here, email hello@thesundaystudio.co and I will reply.
Sunday Morning, patterns
- What file format do the patterns come in?
- Each colorway ships as a high resolution PNG at 300 DPI, tested to tile seamlessly. Where a PSD master is available for a pattern, it is offered as a separate purchase from the pattern's own page. Full file specs live on the Plans and Specs page.
- What happens after I buy? How do I get my files?
- Straight after payment you land on a confirmation page with your download links, and the same links go to the email you used at checkout. If you have an account, everything also lives in your library under Account so you can re download any time.
- What can I actually do with the Small Commercial License?
- Short version, sell finished physical products you make yourself by hand, on Etsy, at markets, in your own shop, and client work as a maker or designer, up to 500 finished units per pattern. The full plain language breakdown is on the License page.
- Can I use these on print on demand platforms like Printify or Redbubble?
- No, print on demand and pattern marketplaces like Spoonflower, Redbubble or Society6 are not covered by any of the licenses we sell. See the License page for exactly what is and is not included, and reach out if you have a use case that needs a custom arrangement.
- I cannot find my download email, what do I do?
- First, check your spam and promotions folders, the email comes from hello@thesundaystudio.co. If it is genuinely missing, the easiest fix is to create an account with the same email you used at checkout, and your orders will attach to your library automatically. If that does not work, email us and we will resend by hand.
- How does the subscription work, and how do I cancel?
- Pick a monthly or yearly plan on the Subscribe page. You get a set number of pattern downloads per billing period at your chosen license tier. Downloads reset each period. You can cancel or change plan any time from your account, with no phone call and no hidden steps: your choice is respected the moment you make it.
- What is a custom colorway request, and how long does it take?
- On any pattern page you can request a custom colorway for €4.90. Send us the colors you want and we will paint the pattern in those colors and add the new colorway to your library. Turnaround is usually 1 to 2 business days, and we will keep you posted by email.
The Sunday Edit, homeware
- How does made to order timing work for The Sunday Edit?
- Every piece in the edit is produced after you order, nothing sits in a warehouse. That means a short production time before your order ships, typically a handful of business days depending on the product, and shipping time on top of that. The exact windows show up at checkout and on your order confirmation.
