Sunday Morning
License, in plain English
Included free
Small Commercial License
This one is included with every pattern purchase, no extra step. It covers you for the kind of small, hands on selling most of our customers actually do.
You can:
- Sell finished physical products that you make yourself by hand, using the pattern on the surface of the product.
- Sell those products on Etsy, at markets and fairs, in your own physical or online shop.
- Take on client work as a maker or designer, and use the pattern on the finished pieces you deliver.
- Produce up to 500 finished units per pattern in total under this license.
Not included
What Small Commercial does not cover
These uses are outside the Small Commercial License:
- Use inside a logo or as part of a brand identity system.
- Use on print on demand platforms such as Printify, Printful, Gelato, or similar.
- Selling more than 500 finished units of a single pattern.
- Reselling, redistributing, or sharing the original pattern file itself, in any form.
- Use on Spoonflower, Redbubble, Society6, or similar platforms where the pattern itself gets listed by a third party rather than used on a product you make and sell yourself.
Per pattern upgrades
If you need more, three upgrades are available
The first two are purchased per pattern, from that pattern's own page, using the Compare licences option next to any colorway. The third sits with the editable master file on the same page.
Add on
Branding License
Adds the right to use the pattern inside a logo or as part of a brand identity system, on top of everything Small Commercial already allows.
Add on
Extended Commercial License
Removes the 500 unit cap entirely. Truly uncapped production of finished physical products carrying that pattern.
Add on, master file
Extended Commercial License, €249
Once you own a pattern's editable master file, this removes the 500 unit cap across every colorway you create yourself from it. It is separate from the €39 Extended Commercial sold per pattern with colorways and bundles, because that one covers a single colorway while this one covers all the colorways you make.
Not sold as a license
Print on demand and pattern marketplaces
Access to print on demand platforms, and listing the pattern itself on Spoonflower or similar marketplaces, are handled separately and are not offered as a license upgrade. Those uses either compete directly with our own homeware line, The Sunday Edit, or need a custom arrangement. If that is genuinely what you need, get in touch and we can talk about it directly.
